Description

The YTR4335G is the previous generation of Yamahas workhorse intermediate horn (current model: YTR4335GII).
The first generation 4000 series trumpets were made between 2009 to 2012. At this time some of these horns were made in Japan, while some were assembled in the USA.

This instrument features a gold brass bell. The extra copper in the brass alloy gives the horn a dark, mature sound with great projection and intonation.

The medium-large bore (.459") and 4-7/8" bell are standard features that will likely be consistent with a student horn one may be upgrading from. This allows the upgrading trumpetist to take full advantage of the instruments higher quality tone and playability without having to adjust to a different feeling instrument.

The 4000 series trumpets from Yamaha are designed to give an amateur player an instrument that they can grow into, while keeping the forgiving nature of a student level horn. With more room to develop a refined sound, and more flexibility throughout the entire range of the instrument, this will allow the player to build a stronger connection to the trumpet so they can excel in whichever genre of music they choose.
