Description
Famously the choice of artists such as the Everly Brothers, Cat Stevens, Dwight Yoakam and Billy Joe Armstrong, the J-180 stands out as a more compact sibling to the mighty SJ-200. This Inspired by Gibson J-180 LS reflects a brilliant collaboration between Epiphone and the luthiers at Gibson's Custom Shop.
Premium features include a thermally aged solid spruce top with scalloped X bracing, solid mahogany back and rims, a one-piece mahogany neck is topped by a laurel pickguard inlaid with graduated mother-of-pearl Stars. The compensated saddle, bridge pins and nut are bone while the world renowned "open book" headstock bears the Epiphone logo and J-180 Star motif inlaid in mother of pearl. An Inspired by Gibson Custom Double Diamond emblem is etched into the back of the headstock and an LR Baggs VTC under-saddle pickup and preamp system ensures you're ready for studio or live stage. A hardshell case is also included.
