Description

The Conn 32H is a vintage horn which were produced from the early 1930s up to the end of the 50s, with a brief pause in production during WWII.

A large draw to these horns is the "duo-bore" construction where the instruments grows from a .500" up to .522". With a uniquely tapered bore through bell, tuning slide, bell taper, hand slides and hand slide bow this trombone is geared towards producing a big tone with accurate intonation and ease of response, particularly in the high register.

The slides are quite narrow and light, due to being constructed of Conns 'Crysteel Airfloat' slide encased in Conns signature alloy.

These instruments were crafted nearly a century ago with power in mind. Being favored by large bands where high energy and volume are paramount. In present day, the 32H has found itself with a following of those who seek a big and direct sound with a bright edge to it. Beloved by those who love to play high due to its ease in the upper register and sought by soloists of any genre for its bite produced by the horns effortless response.

This 32H is silver plated everywhere except for the face of the bell. The brushed finish applied everywhere except the bell engraving means this horns stands out from the rest. Its unique finishing paired with its tight and narrow tubing give this horn an unmistakeable vintage look, complementing its mature sound.

**This horn is housed in a Pro-Tec Max case (MX306CTS) and comes with the original lyre included with original outfit.
