Monette mouthpieces are designed to negate the need for user adjustment to find the "sweet spot" of a trumpet, allowing the player to approach the horn with a open, relaxed, and neutral embouchure to promote a natural, free blowing sound. Furthermore, they provide even response throughout the entire range of the instrument further aiding the player in minimizing their effort with flexibility.

The Monette C Trumpet mouthpieces are slightly smaller than their Bb counterparts to compensate for the shorter tubing of the instrument.
