Description

The Mad Meg by Cannonball is a exceptional example of a big bell, american style horn. This boasts a rich, full sound with outstanding projection. The Mad Megs character will speak with ease in any dynamic range, whether it be very soft subtones, all the way up to the screaming altissimo.

Like many american horns, the Cannonball is designed and built with a jazz focus in mind with an emphasis on giving the warmest sound possible to lower registers especially. It comes with two necks, allowing the player to have some modularity to best shape their sound on the horn.

Tieing all of these wonderful features together is the striking appearance of the horn. Its unlaquered brass finish is a beautiful yellow colour paired with Tigers Eye stone keys. Due to the unlaquered nature the horns finish will develop with its owner and become a truly unique instrument.
