The Martin BC-16E acoustic-electric bass is ideal if you enjoy writing and practicing on an unplugged bass but also need the ability to plug it in for recording or playing live with your band. The BC-16E features a solid Spruce top, East Indian Rosewood back and sides, and forward-offset scalloped bracing to deliver deep, punchy Martin-style sound whether you're plugged in or use integrated Fishman® electronics. It also features a fast, comfortable neck so you can keep the rhythm section tight. The BC-16E is equipped with authentic acoustic bass strings from Martin.
