Vintage Flugelhorn!

This Antoine Courtois Flugelhorn hails from the mid-late 1900s and is a prime example of a Courtois Flugel. Notorious for its sweet sound and wonderful projection. With its authentic french design it delivers a well rounded dark sound. It differs from the standard of modern flugels with its small bore and large bell design. This allows the horn to offer versatility where it would not be out of place in a brass or wind band, while still not being out of place on the jazz band stand.

This flugelhorn is well loved, and was serviced by our technicians to ensure that it works just as well as any new horn off the shelf. The lacquer is almost entirely intact save for one small mark on the bell. There are a few dents throughout which are unserviceable.

***This horn does not have the original case, and is instead housed in a brand new pro-tec case (PB-314). It also unfortunately does not come with a mouthpiece.
