Description

FISHMAN Model G preamps are specifically designed for use with piezoelectric pickups. Since piezoelectric pickups require specific electrical environments, G models feature discrete input stages that maximize the full potential of piezoelectric pickups. They provide active gain and active bass and treble boost and cut. The center frequencies of these controls were selected for their relationship to acoustic instruments. The tone controls are bookshelf style. The width of the bass and treble separation effectively provides midrange control; boosting the bass and treble controls will simultaneously provide effective midrange reduction or vice versa. The preamp housing is made of sturdy aluminum and weighs just seven ounces. For maximum portability and convenience of use. APPLICATIONS Model G is specifically designed for acoustic stringed instruments, including guitars, violins, violas, cellos and mandolins.
