First introduced in 1958, the Epiphone Coronet was one of Epiphone's first and most successful original solid body electric guitar designs. The latest version carries over many of the features of the early Coronet models, including the symmetrical double-cutaway mahogany body with a single Epiphone PRO P-90 Dogear pickup, three downsized Kalamazoo headstocks on one side with an Epiphone Bikini badge and ivory button tuners, and a white butterfly pickguard with aluminum E logo. The Epiphone Coronet features a set-in mahogany neck with a medium C profile, a 12" radius Indian laurel fingerboard with 22 medium jumbo frets, volume and tone controls with CTS potentiometers, and an Epiphone Lightning Bar compensated wraparound bridge.

P-90 Single Coil Pickup - Legendary Sound
First introduced in the early 1950s, Gibson's legendary P90 single-coil pickup produced a raw, powerful tone that helped define blues and rock and roll during their formative years. Today, the P90's traditional combination of high output and bright tone is still considered a favorite among many top players. Known by such familiar nicknames as "Soapbar" and "Cobalt," the P90 continues to adapt to any genre of music, while displaying astonishing tonal sensitivity for everything from blues and rock to smooth jazz riffs. It's perfect as a vintage replacement and features two-conductor braided vintage wiring. It's also fully wax potted to eliminate any chance of unwanted microphonic feedback.
