This hands-on workshop, hosted by DJ SNDFR3Q of Sound Freqz Entertainment, covers DJ fundamentals, the basics of digital DJing, and how to transition from simply pressing play to rocking a crowd. Learn how to navigate Serato DJ software, mix tracks seamlessly, and build confidence behind the decks. We'll dive into song selection/structure, creative EQ techniques, looping, FX, and STEM track separation, giving you the tools to craft dynamic, high-energy sets.

 

Participants will experience the session from both the DJ and audience perspective, using wireless headphones and loudspeakers to explore how sound translates in a live setting. Whether you're a total beginner or looking to refine your skills, this workshop will set you on the path to becoming a DJ!

 

DJ SNDFR3Q (Sound Freak) is a high-energy turntablist, producer, and event curator known for his ability to blend genres seamlessly while keeping dance floors moving. An accomplished scratch DJ, SNDFR3Q has contributed scratching and production features on multiple published tracks, and has opened for some of the biggest names in hip-hop, including Swollen Members, Robbie G, Dax, Junk, Young Stitch, Saukrates, and even the legendary Snoop Dogg.
