• Understanding ""what is sound"" and how it relates to synthesis
• Understanding harmonic overtones in order to create sounds like brass, strings and other instruments
• A brief review of synthesizer terminologies like VCO, VCF, and VCA; what they mean
• Exploring all parameters in synthesizer programing like oscillators, filters, and envelope generators
