Have you ever wondered why there's that one specific drum that won't tune up like the others? Or why your bass drum isn't as punchy as others? Maybe your snare drum is too tight? Tuning drums can be difficult, but it doesn't have to be. Join Kieran for an in-depth clinic on the process around tuning your drum set. From the basics, to specific intervals between drums/heads, to muffling - we will cover everything you need to know to get your drums sounding as professional as possible.

 

Kieran graduated in 2020 from Brandon University with a Bachelor of Music Degree in Jazz Performance (drum set) with distinction, and as member of the Dean's list. Through his four years at BU, he had the opportunity to learn from and work with some brilliant musical minds, and through those experiences gained invaluable knowledge about the language of music and what it means to play music with other people - along with everything else that comes with a music degree. Kieran has been a private drum set instructor and clinician for the last 7 years and has worked with students of all ages and skill levels.
