With Peter Vesuwalla

Join us for this introduction to alternate tunings, with a focus on open G,  DADGAD, open D, and Gsus2, citing examples by Keith Richards and Jimmy Page. Topics will include scale patterns, open-string drones, creative use of a capo, and unlocking chord voicing impossible in standard tuning.

Peter Vesuwalla has been playing guitar for 30 years, and spent 11 years on the sales floor at Long & McQuade learning the particulars of the instrument. He's a veteran of Calgary's jam scene, accustomed to improvising rock, blues, funk, hip-hop, and reggae.
