This interactive workshop is guaranteed to get you started on your adventure with this wonderful instrument. Learn about types of harps, harp tuning, basic harp techniques, and harp history!
Ellen Gibling is a harpist based in K’jipuktuk/Halifax. She holds a BMus in classical harp performance from McGill University, and an MA in Irish traditional music performance from the University of Limerick.

Brandon Skeete, AKA Skeeter-B, is an open format DJ who has been on the Halifax scene since 2014. He's performed at bars, clubs, sporting events, and everything from dance performances to battles.

Warren has been teaching guitar, bass and theory since 1986 for such schools as McCabe Music, The Canadian Conservatory of Music and The Fall River School of Performing Arts. Over the years, he has taught many different styles of music to hundreds of students. An energetic teaching style yields positive results by engaging and inspiring the student to want to express themselves musically to the highest level. Many of Warren’s students have made a music a primary part of their lives.
