Live Sound Basics
With Tim Davidson
Learn the basics of running live sound for small to medium size sound and monitor systems.
This clinic is ideal for beginner and early intermediate level sound techs, and churches and live venues with a new or volunteer sound team.
After exploring the sequence of steps for mixing a band, questions from the participants will drive the workshop.
Tim Davidson has done live sound and recording for over 40 years. He has tracked and produced many albums since 2006 at his current studio, Ripple Effect Music (REM). He also has 15 years’ experience with location audio for film and film postproduction.
Tim has run small to medium sized live sound systems – analogue and digital - at many of Saint John’s venues, including a summer at the Market Square Boardwalk and at many houses of worship.
