Clara Schumann: Her Life and Compositions followed by Women Composers of the 18th & 19th Centuries
With Eleanor Gummer
Eleanor Gummer will give historical biographical information about women composers and cover a selection of their compositions that appear on the RCM and Conservatory Canada piano syllabi.
Eleanor Gummer holds a Master of Music degree in Piano Performance from McGill University, a Bachelor of Music degree from the University of Manitoba as well as Fellowship and Licentiate diplomas from Trinity College of Music, London and an Associate diploma in Piano Performance from the Royal Conservatory of Music. She is active as a workshop clinician, adjudicator with the Canadian Adjudicators Association and an examiner for Conservatory Canada.

Jacob Moon shares strategies for being an effective 'live looper', and demonstrates how performers can unlock their creativity using the BOSS RC 300 and other popular looping pedals. His performance will include originals and covers orchestrated with a combination of musical taste and technical wizardry. If you've ever wondered how looping can take your solo or band project to the next level, this clinic is for you.
Roots musician Jacob Moon has played for RUSH, Marillion, and Gordon Lightfoot over his 20 years on the road, and has competed in Roland Canada's national looping contests.
