Nina began her harp journey at 62, and is impassioned to share that YOU can begin, at your age, too. Take your first step towards your own joyous, rewarding harp journey!              

 

Nina is a seasoned Toronto-based international keynote speaker, and radio and TV host, who brings over 25 years of keynote speaker and workshop facilitator expertise to the table. The harp is Nina’s heart-and-soul instrument. She is beyond enthused to champion the playing of this beautiful instrument to anyone who is keen to explore!

Recording Electric Guitar: Basics for Better Sounds              
With Simon Larochette

Learn the basics of how to get great electric guitar recordings at home or in the studio. Starting at the instrument and ending in the computer, every step of the signal chain counts. We’ll discuss guitar choice, pedal choice, mic choice, and where to place your mic on the speaker.  For those using guitar amp simulators, we’ll also discuss some great ways to improve your sounds in the box.

 

Simon Larochette is a recording engineer, multi-instrumentalist and owner of The Sugar Shack in London, working in genres ranging from country to punk to metal.  A Juno-nominated engineer, Simon was nominated for the 2016 “Producer/Engineer of The Year” at London’s Jack Richardson Music Awards, an award which he took home in 2013.
