Have you ever wanted to dip your toes into the world of instrumental jazz arranging? This presentation will cover how to plan out and complete an arrangement on a jazz standard, with a focus on writing idiomatically for standard jazz instruments, and linear, unison, and contrapuntal styles of writing.
Chris is an in-demand jazz composer, arranger, and trumpet player based in Vancouver, BC. He has arranged music for jazz giants including Bria Skonberg, Peter Bernstein, Rich Brown, and Pat LaBarbara.
