• Explanation of the basic components of a guitar, including the body, neck, fretboard, strings, bridge, and tuning pegs.
• Cleaning and maintenance - how to clean your instrument and some basic maintenance to get the most out of your guitar for years to come.
• Truss rod adjustment - the purpose of the truss rod and how to perform basic adjustments to optimize neck relief.
• Tuning and maintenance - guidance on establishing a regular maintenance routine, including tuning, string cleaning, and inspection for any issues.

Tracey Tiffin has been playing guitar for 48 years. He has played most styles of music and, through extensive gigging, has come to understand the importance of regular guitar maintenance.
