Introduction to Jazz Improvisation and Ensemble Playing
with Connor Newton

This clinic is an introduction to beginner jazz improvization techniques on the saxophone, but is open to players of all instruments. The clinic will also cover ensemble playing techniques. 

Connor is a professional saxophonist with over 15 years' experience as a bandleader, sideman, and recording artist. He holds a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Performance from the University of Toronto and a Diploma in Music Performance from Grant MacEwan University. Connor is our Educational Services Representative for Long & McQuade in Saskatoon.
