Are you interested in recording at home? Join us for an introduction to home recording in a live session with the new Universal Audio Volt interface. We will cover the basics of using a recording interface, miking a singer/songwriter with an acoustic guitar, adding overdubs, and learning to create a clean sounding project.

Shane has been a recording engineer for the past twenty years.  He has worked with artists in a variety of musical genres, taking them from the initial recording stage to fully mastered productions.

Upright Bass Beginnings

This clinic, geared towards the beginner, will help students acquire the necessary skills to keep up with the rest of the band. We will cover proper standing and playing positions, using a bow (German or French), the difference between jazz and classical pizzicato, the first two hand positions, shifting, Bb and F major scales, general care of the instrument and practice techniques.

Chris has been a double bassist for over 30 years and has studied at Indiana University, The University of Toronto and The University of Manitoba. He has played all styles of music all around the world, and has held many clinics and sessions, starting bass players on a path to success in their band careers.
