Shires Brass Clinic (Trumpet and Trombone) - Toronto, ON

Featuring Shires trumpet artist Terry Everson.

This free workshop, presented by S.E. Shires and Long & McQuade, features renowned soloists and educators Terry Everson in the morning, and Gordon Wolfe in the afternoon.

Terry has been on faculty of Boston University since 1999 and has performed with both the Boston Symphony Orchestra, Boston Pops Orchestra, Philadelphia Orchestra, Boston Ballet, Manhattan Transfer and Ray Charles, to name a few.

Gordon Wolfe has been a member of the Toronto Symphony Orchestra since 2001, taking over the role of Principal Trombone in 2006. He has also performed with the Los Angeles Philharmonic, the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, the St. Paul Chamber Orchestra, and the National Arts Centre Orchestra in recent years.

Please join us for this interactive and informative session covering a range of topics including audition preparation, teaching and freelancing tips, and an opportunity to meet a factory representative from S.E. Shires, and try a range of trumpets and trombones from one of preeminent companies in brass instrument manufacturing.
