As part of the Learning Series, we will provide a brief introductory overview of these features and techniques and answer questions. Djembe Ensemble for Health and Happiness with Tara MacKenzie
Founder of the Elemental World Drum Ensemble, Tara has toured internationally as a vocalist and hand percussionist since the late 80’s. She is a facilitator at Womyns Drum Camps, and specializes in Bodhran, European Frame drums, and West African Ensemble Drumming. Her passion is teaching foundational rhythms to get humans involved in ancient customs and traditional rhythms, in a therapeutic environment.
