Recording Interrupted – You Make the Mix
In this seminar we explore many mixing fundamentals – panning, volume, EQ, etc – to build a strong, pre mastered mix. Then we throw it all out the window and build a mix together with input from the crowd. This interactive seminar not only shares many tricks used by the professionals but will also integrate many of the day to day tools used by working engineers sitting right next to you!
Wednesday, March 20 | 7:00pm
Interactive Evening with Guitar Maker Ross Chiasson
Join us for an evening with guitar maker and luthier, Ross Chiasson. This is an interactive and hands on clinic where Ross will demonstrate and discuss basic maintenance on acoustic/classical and electric guitars. Ross will also be on hand to answer questions regarding his current and previous builds of classical guitars.
Tuesday, March 26 | 7:00pm
Hands-On Brass and Woodwinds with Band Instrument Repair Technician, Lisa Paszkowski
In this clinic we will entirely disassemble a clarinet and a trumpet to see how all of the parts fit together, and to learn about the mechanics of how brass and wind instruments work. Trumpets, clarinets, and tools will be provided. All ages and levels of player are invited; even if you don’t play either of these instruments, we will be talking about elements of construction that are common to all brass and woodwinds.
