As a part time working musician and guitar instructor, and full-time Marketing Manager at Pirastro in Germany, Ed is excellent at using his passion for music to communicate with players and makers. Ed gives annual string lectures at the North Bennett Street School, Chicago School of Violin Making, and the Red Wing Technical School’s violin repair program. Most recently, Ed has started giving his string talks to students at the Manhattan School of Music, Queens College, and the Julliard School of Music in New York City. He was also honored to receive an invitation to speak as a member of the string panel at 2015 VSA.
