Ukulele Blues for Beginners with Manitoba Hal
THIS CLINIC IS NOW FULL
Using the chords C, F, and G7, beginners are guided through a basic 12 bar blues progression, including shuffle strumming patterns and the turnaround. Play through the entire workshop while learning theory as it applies to the blues and the ukulele. Players only need to know those three chords and have a basic ability with strumming and changing chords. Bring your own ukulele or borrow one of ours!

All Things Acoustic with Shawn Trotter
Join local acoustic master Shawn Trotter, and other local talent as they demonstrate various acoustic instruments including guitar, mandolin, ukulele and folk style percussion (plus some others you may not have seen before!). All of this will be done with very few microphones to show how room dynamics and even where you stand can make a great performance. After the show there will be an instrument “petting zoo” so you can enjoy the instruments yourself!
