PA 101 with Tim Davidson
Tim, of Hemmings House Pictures, brings over 30 years of experience mixing live sound and running a full time recording studio. In his present role with Hemmings House Pictures he also deals with location recording and audio post-production. This clinic will cover PA basics as well as offer more advanced tips and tricks for small and medium sized sound systems.

Intro To Midi Recording
Long & McQuade’s own Mike Bauer will cover everything suitable for both the beginner and experienced producer. He will discuss choosing a suitable controller for your needs, setting up your controller to a Mac or PC, creating audio/midi/send channels, loading, triggering and recording samples, loops and clips, and adding and controlling audio and midi effects appropriately. Using an Ableton workstation, Mike will make it easy for any producer to plug in a controller, load up an instrument and start creating music.

Ukulele 101 with Sam Patterson
Sam Patterson has a music degree from Saint FX University and is a guitar instructor at our lesson centre. Sam will cover common chord forms, basic strumming and reading tablature for ukulele while also providing a little history of the Instrument as well.
