Join us for an introduction to guitar effects: what they do and how to use them with Ben Winoski of the Regina Long & McQuade acoustic guitar department. Ben will be covering guitar effects, overviews of on-board effects, floor processors and single stompbox effects. Ben Winoski is a local Regina musician who plays electric, steel string and nylon guitar. If you are new to guitar and have wondered about guitar effects, this workshop is for you!

Join Brad for our Ukulele Circle! This is a jam geared towards ukulele players of all skill levels but some experience will be required, so don’t forget to bring your ukulele with you! Brad Papp is a local guitarist and has played with bands across the country. He enjoys all instruments that have strings on them! Brad works at Long & McQuade Regina in the rental department and specializes in guitars.

Presented by Fender Product Specialist and JUNO Award-winning bassist Peter Davyduck.

Learn the basic necessities of capturing your music with your computer. From hardware to software, you will learn what components are necessary and how to set up your new gear to begin recording in minutes. Ray is the Sales Manager of Yorkville Sound, owner of Synergy Studio in Pickering, Ontario, and spends his free time teaching the art of audio engineering. With over 30 years of studio and recording experience, his resume includes voice over work (Scholastic Books, CanDo Children’s Books, etc.), band recordings (Mahogany Ridge, GWood Band, etc.) and solo artists (Dave Lawlor, Chantelle Hope, Josh Kvasnak, etc.) He is a drummer and vocalist as well with his current band, One Night Stand!
