Hand Drumming 101 with Shelly Allen
Shelly has been a music educator, therapist and performer for 30 years. She has studied hand drumming in the US and Cuba, and has facilitated drum workshops in schools , hospitals, community centers, as well as through private lessons via Take Note Music School. Shelly currently performs with  Hell’s Belles as a guitarist, percussionist and vocalist.

Ukulele Clinic with Suzanne Doane
Suzanne has been teaching music and ukulele for the past 32 years. She currently teaches with the Cape Breton-Victoria Regional School Board as a classroom music program teacher, and is director of the Ukuleles Unlimited Ukulele Program for students grades 4 and up.  She is a Dalhousie University Music Education Graduate. She has taught across Canada with James Hill and the JHUI teacher certification program. She recently arranged the new Music Monday song for Ukulele Ensembles for 2015.  She has taught at a variety of workshops across Canada and has performed at the International Ukulele Ceilidh in Liverpool, NS.

Basic Band Instrument Maintenance with Ian Aker
Ian has been playing professionally for 45 years and has opened for  Levon Helm, Muddy Waters, David Wilcox, Three Dog Night, Steppenwolf and more. 2015 marks the 25th year  that Ian has been in brass & woodwind repair. He currently plays with The Blues Merchants and is an accomplished sax, flute and guitar player as well as an accomplished vocalist. Please join us for an informative session on how to keep your band instrument functioning properly .

Intro to Jazz with Joe Waye Jr
Joe has been playing guitar for 40 years . He studied with Toronto jazz guitarist and professor Art DeVilliers. He has recorded numerous records as a featured sideman and has released his own jazz CD (Back To Normal) in 2012. He has shared the stage with Juno Award winning jazz artists such as Kirk MacDonald and Mike Murley. Joe has played numerous jazz festivals  and currently performs with the Joe Waye Trio. Joe has been a sought-after guitar teacher for 35 years. Please join us !
