Setting Up Your Home Recording Studio with Colin Mitchell
Join us for a basic overview of setting up a home studio - What pieces of equipment are necessary, what they do, how they work, and more.  There will also be demonstrations of the basics of mixing, what effects are available and how to use them to get the most out of your software.

Colin has been doing digital audio recording out of his home studio for the last 10 years.  His projects have ranged from 8-track restoration to full album production.

Essential Guitar Maintenance with TJ Siljer
Restringing, set up, tuning, humidifying and all the other finicky things guitar players deal with. It's a way of life for TJ, and he's looking to share some essential tips and tricks with you about how to properly care for your instrument.

TJ is a guitar and bass player, and guitar technician. He is widely sought after as a technician and tours with the likes of The Roadhammers, keeping all of their instruments in tip top shape. TJ works at Long & McQuade Regina as the guitar repair technician.

Guitar Effects 101 with Ben Winoski
Ben will be covering the topic of guitar effects, providing overviews of on-board effects, floor processors and single stompbox effects.  This is a beginner’s introduction to guitar effects, what they do and how to use them. If you are new to guitar and have wondered about guitar effects, then this workshop is for you.

Ben is a local Regina musician who plays electric, steel string and nylon guitar. Ben works at Long & McQuade Regina and specializes in the acoustic guitar department.

Ukulele Circle with Brad Papp
Have you ever wanted to learn to play the ukulele? Now's your chance! Join Brad for our Ukulele Circle. This is an all ages event, and no experience is required. If you don't own a ukulele, we can provide one for you.

Brad is a local guitarist. He has played with bands across the country and enjoys all instruments that have strings on them! Brad works at Long & McQuade Regina in the rental department and specializes in guitars.
