Piano Workshop with Marianne Marusic - Vancouver, BC

Join Long & McQuade Vancouver and Marianne Marusic for a journey through music and across Canada. Ms. Marusic's workshop will focus on her approach to teaching young students to read and play music through stories, games, and the development of supplemental teaching materials. She will also introduce us to her storybook, Cougar's Great Adventure.

Beautifully illustrated, Cougar's Great Adventure takes readers through the provinces and territories of Canada to meet new animal friends as well as notes and rhythms.

Cougar's Great Adventure story book may be read in lessons and again at home by parents or siblings. Accessible and engaging, this storybook provides an excellent introduction to the C major scale and to whole, quarter and eighth notes.
