PA Boot Camp with John Kendall & Alex Marks
Learn basic sound system hook up and operation principles to get the most out of your sound equipment! Topics such as signal flow, matching your gear, mixing tips, selecting the right mixer/speaker combination for your needs, mixer features/functions and more will be covered at this informative session. Don’t fear your gear! John has been with Long & McQuade in the Recording and Live PA departments since 2007. Alex has been a professional sound tech for over 25 years and has been with Long & McQuade since 2004.

Basic Guitar Maintenance with Lyndon MacKenzie
Lyndon offers insight to the many mysteries of proper guitar setup and maintenance including restringing, truss rod adjustments, setting action, tremolo systems and more. Learn some tips to help keep your guitar in top playing condition. Lyndon is a very active musician with 20 years’ experience and has been with Long & McQuade since 2000.
