FREE Drum Clinic with Brent Fitz - Various Locations
In 2013, Brent Fitz has criss-crossed South America and toured around Europe - and it's only March. As the drummer for the legendary Slash, this is business as usual. Natural to a creature who lives on the road, when Brent found himself with a little downtime, he thought he'd take the opportunity to make his way back to his home and native land as part of the All Access Speaker Series. Commencing April 8 in Victoria, the Road To The Junos Tour will take Brent across Western Canada, winding up smack dab in the middle of the country, just in time to celebrate the 2013 Junos in Regina.
On The Road To The Junos, Brent will be speaking about his career; what led him into a life of rock 'n' roll, how as a boy outta Winnipeg he started playing with the likes of Alice Cooper, Theory of a Deadman and Vince Neil and how he landed his current gig touring the world with Slash as a Conspirator. It's part drum clinic (yes, he'll get behind the kit), part 'behind the music' and an interesting look at what it takes to be a professional drummer.
