At the age of 23, British clarinetist and clarinet designer Julian Bliss is established on the international concert scene, having already appeared as soloist with orchestras including the London Philharmonic, BBC Symphony, Royal Philharmonic, Orchestre National de France, Seattle Symphony, Munich Chamber, Malaysian Philharmonic, Swedish Radio Symphony, and more.

In recital, Julian has appeared at such prestigious venues as the Wigmore Hall, the Louvre in Paris, Montpellier Festival, Jerusalem Music Festival, Bad Kissingen and Mecklenburg Festivals and the Rheingau Festival. He recently made his recital debut at the Lincoln Center in New York to great critical acclaim.

Following the success of Julian’s debut recording for EMI with Julien Quentin, he was invited to record exclusively for EMI on their main label. His most recent release with Sabine Meyer as recording partner has been greeted with critical acclaim.

He recently designed the Bliss Clarinet for instrument manufacturer Leblanc.
