FREE Wm.S.Haynes Flute/Improv Workshop with Bill McBirnie - Toronto, ON

As well as celebrating a 125-year tradition of great flute making, this Wm. S. Haynes product clinic will appeal to flutists and doublers who wish to explore some of the alternative techniques that are required to play convincingly in jazz and other non-classical idioms.  Renowned jazz and Latin flutist Bill McBirnie will explore how to modify your physical approach with a view to achieving more authentic—as well as more musical—results in non-classical settings.

This clinic will also appeal to improvisors in general, as constructive approaches in learning how to improvise fluently are examined.
