Flute Recital and Masterclass with Ian Clarke - Toronto, ON

Long & McQuade and Miyazawa Flutes are pleased to present an exciting event with Ian Clarke, world-renowned flutist/composer and professor of flute at the Guildhall School of Music in London, UK.

Friday October 7, 2011 8pm Recital (with pianist Jeanie Chung)
Saturday, October 8, 2011 Masterclass 10:30-4:30 (Lunch 12:00-1:30)

A selection of Miyazawa Flutes will be available for trial before & after the class, as well as during the breaks.

All events will be held at St. Andrew’s United Church, 117 Bloor Street East, Toronto.

Recital:  Ian will play a mix of repertoire including his own compositions. General Admission: $10

Masterclass:  There is space for eight advanced players (minimum level: grade 8 RCM). Performers must provide their own pianist. Performer fee: $50. Auditors: Free.

There will be a selection of sheet music available at the masterclass
