FREE Music Teacher Workshops - Burlington, ON

Long & McQuade Burlington is pleased to be offering two workshops in September.

The first workshop, with Elayne Ras, will focus on communicating with students, the impact and power of your words, and ways of encouraging students so that they achieve greater success. This workshop is not instrument specific, and will be beneficial to all music teachers.

Elayne Ras has her Honours Bachelor of Music and her BA in Psychology (focusing on Child Development) from the University of Western Ontario. She is also a certified Suzuki Teacher Trainer. She teaches full-time at the Suzuki Institute in Waterloo, and is Director of Violin/Viola Programming for the Southwestern Ontario Suzuki Institute in Waterloo.

The second workshop, with David Story, is known as the "Pupil Saver's" workshop. He will be presenting practical tips and ways to continue engaging and motivating students. This will be a practical, hands-on workshop that you won't want to miss!

David Story has his Bachelor of Music from Berklee, ARCT First Class Honours from the RCM, and is an examiner for Conservatory Canada.
