The Shore 104.3FM Song Search - BC
The Shore 104.3FM Song Search is a contest open to emerging artists in the province of BC, which focuses on the roots of great songwriting. Through awareness and education as well as public performance, Song Search is designed to support the overall growth and development of up and coming songwriters and in turn, showcase great new Canadian songs and artists to fans and listeners alike.
Song Search culminates with the announcement of a grand prize winner (decided largely by our esteemed panel of music industry judges: Sam Feldman, Bruce Allen and Terry McBride) who will be presented with a career kick-start prize package that includes:
- A fully mixed and mastered 4-song EP by Nimbus School of Recording Arts, Produced by Shawn Cole (Bend Sinister, Hannah Georgas)
- A professionally produced electronic press kit (EPK) from Insider Films(Tegan & Sara, Mother Mother)
- All expenses paid trip and artist showcase at Rifflandia 2011
- $5000 gift certificate courtesy of Long &McQuade
- Extensive airplay on Shore 104.3 FM
