Lessons in Dartmouth

The Dartmouth Lesson Centre has an exciting offering of group classes this season:

YOU ROCK!
This course is designed for beginning students who want to play either electric or acoustic guitar. The course is designed around the teaching book Guitarworks, written by the course instructor Stephen Dempster. You will be playing tunes composed by the instructor that ROCK with the accompanying CD so you can show off to your friends and family. Along the way you will also learn some very familiar guitar riffs. This course is a great introduction to the world of guitar playing. See you there!

FOR THOSE ABOUT TO ROCK…!
Designed for the teen rock enthusiast, you will cover the basic tools of the rock guitarist so you can shred for friends and family in no time. The course is taught by veteran course designer Stephen Dempster and is based on the instructor’s book, Rock Foundations. From your first power chord to your first rock ensemble, this course will give you the starting tools to grow as a rock guitarist. If you’re ready for the challenge come and join us to make some noise!

KEYBOARD KIDS 5 – 9 years old
Learn the basics of piano playing in a fun and friendly group setting for children. Materials have been carefully selected for various age levels, with an emphasis on a playful approach to learning music.

ADULT BEGINNER GUITAR
So you’ve always wanted to rock? Brad Conrad, guitarist for the Mellotones, will get you started. Learn to jam!

ROCK SKOOL
Playing and practicing by yourself is worthwhile, but music is a social activity. Find some like-minded friends, form a band, and rehearse with a professional coach. We’ll polish your performance, help you with jams, and take your group to the next level.
