Digital Recording for the Guitarist - Vancouver, BC
Long & McQuade, IK Multimedia, and Yamaha Canada Music are pleased to present a series of free clinics that will cover the setup, recording, and mixing process for those curious about making music with their computers.
The presentations will be aimed toward guitar players, but the information will be applicable to any instrument.
The events will feature Steinberg’s CI2 USB audio interface and Cubase 5.5 software. It will also include a special presentation on Amplitube 3, the premiere amp and effect modeling software from IK Multimedia.
Topics will include How To:
- configure an audio interface (and why you need one)
- connect your guitar to your computer
- record your first track and edit the perfect take
- accompany yourself with virtual instruments
- add effects and mix down your file
- and more!
As a special bonus, everybody who attends a clinic will receive a free copy of Amplitube X-GEAR, and be entered into a draw for a Yamaha N12 Digital Mixing Studio.
