Liam Titcomb For War Child Tour - Various Locations

Long & McQuade is excited to support Liam Titcomb for his cross-Canada War Child Tour.

Beginning July 18th in St. John’s, Newfoundland and covered by CBC radio1 and radio2 nationally, 21-year-old Canadian singer-songwriter Liam Titcomb will travel coast to coast in his  RV, visiting 50 cities and towns as he busks across the country to raise money for War Child. 

War Child is an international charity that provides urgent humanitarian support for war-affected children around the world. In 2003, Liam began his relationship with War Child when he contributed the song “War” to the benefit album Peace Songs (along with Leonard Cohen, Paul McCartney, Bruce Cockburn and more.)
 
The two-month fundraising event, which wraps up in Victoria, BC on September 11th, will include scheduled free community events and spontaneous street corner busking.  Local musicians will also join Liam in many of the locations throughout the tour to lend their support for the charity.  Documented through social media networks Facebook, myspace and Twitter with daily blogs, pictures and videos, people will be able to follow Liam in his travels across the country.
