Courses being offered:

Summer Rock Camp
Dates: July 13-17; August 4-8
Instructors: Craig White,  Chris Robertson, Michael Agranovich
Time: 10am-12:30pm  Monday to Friday
Cost: $225  
Ages: 9-12 Preteen Rock Band | 13-16  Youth Rock Band
Participants will have the opportunity to work with a group and learn about the many aspects of playing in a band. Students will gain skills in rhythm, lead, bass, drums, percussion and vocals. Some experience required. Group will be organized by age and playing experience.

Heavy Metal Camp       
Dates: August 24-28
Instructor: Chris Robertson
Time:10am-12:30pm  Monday to Friday
Cost: $225
Ages: 13 and up
Experience required. A rock camp focusing on heavy metal. Learn how to work as a member of a band while exploring the various styles of the genre. Learn about using equipment, theory, playing styles and jamming.

Beginner Guitar Camp            
Dates: July 6-10         
Instructor: Chris Robertson
Time:10am-12:30pm Monday to Friday
Cost: $225
Ages: 8 and up
No experience required. Introduction to the guitar. Students will learn about chords, picking and strumming, developing rhythm, basic theory, and playing songs.

Advanced Guitar Camp           
Dates: July 20-24
Instructor :Andrew Smith
Time:10am-12:30pm  Monday to Friday
Cost:$225
Ages:13 and up
A more advanced camp that expands upon the concepts taught in the beginner camp. Learn challenging music and basic instrument maintenance. Learn complex chords, different styles of playing and advanced theory.

Introduction to Keyboard Camp  
Dates: July 6-10 
Instructor: Taya Beauchemin
Time: 10am-12:30pm  Monday to Friday
Ages: 6-9
Cost: $225
No previous musical training required. Students will learn the basics of piano technique, note reading, and ear training. At the end of this five-day camp, students should be able to play several songs and be well-prepared for regular piano instruction. The goal of this camp is to expose students to piano instruction in a positive and fun way and to motivate them to continue further.

Beginner Piano Camp
Dates: July 20-24
Instructor: Taya Beauchemin
Time:10am-12:30pm  Monday to Friday
Ages: 6-9
Cost: $225
Some experience required. Students will learn about a variety of musical styles and skills and should improve upon their sight reading, ear training, basic composition, piano technique and overall musicianship. The goal of this camp is to provide a fun and interactive group lesson setting where students have the opportunity to work  together and play for one another, thereby decreasing performance anxiety and increasing creativity and musicality.

Musical Theatre Camp
Dates: Aug 10-14
Instructor: Tina Moore   
Time:10am-12:30pm  Monday to Friday
Cost: $225
Ages: 8-16
Must  be able to read a script. Have fun and gain confidence while learning the skills used for Musical Theatre through improvisation, theatre games, singing and fun choreography. This camp is designed to nurture and expand your child's creativity. Students will be coached to improve reading and comprehension skills,  develop your child's unique voice, learn simple but effective choreography and to create characters and develop acting skills.

Jazz Ensemble                    
Dates: August 17-21
Instructor: Collin Rosati
Time:10-12:30pm, Monday to Friday               
Cost: $225
Age:All ages
Experience required. Learn to play jazz in a small jazz combo setting.  In this one week ensemble class, students will explore the basics of playing jazz music, beginning with the simple blues form and progressing to jazz standards. Emphasis will be placed on learning songs, applying jazz concepts and phrasing, and commercial music theory. The information learned in this class is easily transferable to other genres of music and will help students rapidly improve their musicianship.

Latin Percussion Ensemble       
Dates: July 27– July 31
Instructor: Michael Skinner
Time:10-12:30pm, Monday to Friday
Age: 10 and up   
Cost: $225
Basic musical knowledge is recommended. Students will be given the opportunity to play in a large group setting playing various instruments in an authentic Latin band.  Each camp member will have a chance to learn all of the instruments; some of which include congas, bongos, timbale, guiro and clave.  At the end of the week there will be a final concert/pizza party for family and friends.
