Guitar Workshop Plus is much more than just a guitar camp or summer music camp. They offer week-long workshops in a musical environment at superb facilities located in the east and west. Guitar, Bass, Drum, Keyboard, and Vocal courses are offered for all levels, ages, and styles including rock, blues, jazz, acoustic, classical and songwriting. Our faculty members are professional musicians and instructors with extensive experience teaching in summer music programs, workshops, private settings, and post secondary institutions. World famous guest artists teach and perform for our participants.  Rock guitar god John Petrucci (Dream Theater) will be part of the program this year. Blues legend Robben Ford will return to inspire students as well as multi-stylist Andy Timmons and musical chameleon Greg Howe. Legendary virtuoso Tony MacAlpine will be joining the program for the first time as will the acoustic genius Tony McManus. Bass innovator Stuart Hamm, drum guru Paul Delong, jazz great Lorne Lofsky, shred master David Martone, rock professor Jon Finn, and guitar designer Robert Godin round out the line-up. Our top ranked summer music program allows students to participate in daily classes, clinics, ensemble and student performances, and evening concerts. Participants also take away a DVD of their live performances!

Guitar Workshop Plus is a program designed for aspiring musicians of all ages to promote the growth and development of musical knowledge and skills. Our program is unique in that we cater our instruction to the student's personal style, level of experience, and musical goals. We create a healthy, non-competitive, and supportive environment in which to learn. The complete immersion in music allows students to walk away with enough material and musical ideas to last until next year.
