About our Tillsonburg Location

Our Tillsonburg location began as Academy of Music/Music Centre, owned and operated by Brent and Anita McKay and family. The store was a full musical instruments shop and many budding musicians were created through the lessons offered. Brent McKay's life was shortened by cancer in 2017, and in August 2018, the store was acquired by Long & McQuade. Long & McQuade offers a full line of musical instrument rentals as well as expanding the retail with brand names like Gibson, Taylor, and Fender, in addition to continuing to offer music lessons.
