About our St. Catharines Location

On April 1^st, 2013 Long & McQuade officially took over Ostanek’s Music Center in downtown St. Catharines. Around since the late ’60s, many of the current staff got their start at the well known Geneva St. location. In March of 2019, the St. Catharines store moved to its current location near the Fairview Mall, at 20 Grote St. Originally potato storage for Levers Potato chips, the building has been a number of well-known restaurants, and a yoga studio. Carrying a wide variety of electric and acoustic guitars and the largest drum selection in the Niagara region. It has a full range of PA equipment including a vast assortment of rental stock. Come browse the recording area which includes hardware and software for all your projects. This location offers electric pianos, keyboards, and controllers in the keyboard department. The band department is fully equipped with new and used instruments plus all the accessories you would ever need. It has a fantastic Lesson Centre, with bright rooms and skilled teachers. With a great selection of print music, there’s something for every music enthusiast!
