Online Lessons:

Graham Tilsley has been studying, exploring, playing, performing, recording and composing music for over 20 years. He graduated from Grant MacEwan University with two diplomas in Recording and Live Sound Engineering, and Upright Bass Performance. All the while, he was part of the jazz band and jazz choir.

Upon graduating, he has been working as a session musician which has taken him around the world, including all over Canada, the U.S., Europe, the UK, and more with many bands/artists and on a number of different instruments.

With 17 years of teaching experience, Graham knows when to follow a curriculum and when to tailor each lesson to the goals of the student (or parent). He teaches electric and acoustic guitar, upright and electric bass, cello, and voice. Graham's objective is to teach music and develop the musician. He incorporates ear training and theory through conversation rather than through tests with right or wrong answers.

Additionally, Graham is a multi-instrumentalist, singer-songwriter, recording engineer, live sound engineer, producer, guitar and bass tech.
