Obtained both Bachelor and Master degree in Violin Performance, his main mentors were violinists Etsuko Kimura (TSO Assistant Concertmaster), Lucy Gould (Chamber Orchestra of Europe & Gould Piano Trio), and Itzhak Rashkovsky (pedagogue at Royal College of Music). Amos is an avid chamber musician with tremendous experiences in chamber ensemble, orchestras, as well as solo performances. He has had the privilege to work and collaborate with many internationally world renowned artists both in Canada and the UK. Some of his chamber highlights were in collaboration with Nicola Benedetti, Leonard Elschenbroich, Pieter Wispelwey, and principals of the BBC NOW & WNO.

Ph. D (Komitas State Conservatory), RCM Accredited Teacher (Piano, Vocal), Creator and Owner of Childhood Music Program
Anait holds a Ph.D in music from Komitas State Conservatory. She has taught music at TCDSB schools, Montessori private schools as well as other private music schools. Anait has taught piano, vocal and music theory over 28 years. She prepares her students for RCM examinations, for competitions and provides them recording opportunities. Many recital engagements have taken her to major cities in Armenia, Russia, the Middle East, Canada and the U.S.A. She recorded her three albums that have been nominated in Los Angeles at Armenian Music Award. Her music videos in variety of languages and styles can be found on her You Tube account. Anait has been performing in a number of concerts at venues such as Toronto Centre for the Arts, St. Lawrence Concert Hall and University of Montréal. She has also sang as a soloist with the Russian Strings Orchestra in Los Angeles, California. In Canada, Anait’s music has been part of two documentaries, one in 1994 on the Armenian Artists for TV Ontario and one in 2004 for the National Film Board of Canada. Anait loves to share her passion for music with students of all ages and levels with individualized approach.

M. Mus Piano (Kyrgyz National Conservatory)
Born in a theatrical family, since her early years Angela has performed on stage at the Opera House in Kyrgyzstan.
Angela is an experienced teacher offering piano/keyboard, vocal and theory lessons online and in studio. She has prepared students for international exams, festivals, talent shows and competitions. She holds a Masters degree from Kyrgyz National Conservatory and brings over 22 years of teaching experience. Angela is bilingual, conducting lessons in both English and Russian, and focuses on teaching a comprehensive understanding of music, from theory to practical skills. She's particularly adept at identifying and nurturing talent across all levels, from beginners to advanced students of any age.

Dan Pitt is a graduate of the University of Toronto's Jazz Performance program and is an active musician in Toronto's creative music scene. He has toured in Canada and the U.S. working with musicians such as Dave Young, Terry Promane, Andrew Downing, Tim Berne, Michael Formanek and Tony Malaby. Dan has studied with Bob Shields, Geoff Young, Ben Monder, Brad Shepik and David Torn. Dan currently has released five albums under his name and has appeared on several others as a collaborator.
Dan is a patient instructor and enjoys working with musicians and students of all levels and playing and teaching multiple genres. With over a decade of teaching experience, he believes in personalized lessons for each individual and aims to ensure students learn how to make music on the guitar and enjoy the process as much as possible.

Emree’s 20-year music journey began when he took drum lessons in his teens at his local music school in Ottawa. After two years he decided to follow his passion and continue his studies at Carleton University, earning his music degree in 2007. During his time at Carleton, he began sharing his love of music and drumming with others by teaching adults and children of all ages at music schools and offering private lessons.
Emree offers an interactive curriculum which is individually tailored to keep students engaged. He encourages students to share their musical interests, influences, and set goals for them to have an active role in their music education. Fun, creativity, and musicality are the focus during lessons, where learned material is put into context by playing along to music.
Emree has performance experience and is well versed in Rock, Pop, Soul/R&B, Latin, and Jazz.

Eric Gilson started his musical education at age three in the Suzuki Program. At age five he began classical piano lessons with the Royal Conservatory of Toronto. There Eric studied with Tadeusz Biernacki, the Conductor of Canada’s Royal Winnipeg Ballet. At age 13 Eric started studying jazz with Earl MacDonald, the head of the music department at the University of Connecticut.
After graduating from Humber College’s performing arts program in 2003 having studied with Brian Dickinson, Eric began performing on cruise ships eventually becoming a musical Director aboard the Queen Elizabeth II performing on world cruises. During that time Eric had the opportunity to play for Prince Charles.
In 2010 Eric moved to Switzerland and performed for 10 years with such jazz greats as Richie Cole, Andy Scherrer and Banz Öester as well as the Basel Symphony Orchestra.
In 2015 Eric was invited by the Belgium Royal family to perform for the birthday of princess Delphine and 51 of the royal family including the king of Belgium.Eric was the Music Director for the musical Rent at La Scala in 2011 and again in 2015.From 2010-2020 Eric taught piano for the International School in Basel Switzerland, teaching classical and Jazz music.
As a teacher his main focus is to deliver personalized lessons to each student in a way that they enjoy and in an environment set up for them to thrive.

Griffin Hodge is a young music educator and woodwind instrumentalist currently residing in Toronto Ontario. After beginning his music career in Kelowna British Columbia, Griffin moved to Toronto in 2018 to complete a degree in woodwind performance from Humber College. Griffin has studied and performed with notable musicians such as Kirk MacDonald and Pat Labarbera, specializing in jazz and improvisation. Griffin has also been the recipient of the Bernie Piltch Memorial Scholarship and the Yamaha Canada Music, Ltd. Award 2021 for his efforts in the field. Griffin primarily plays tenor saxophone and doubles as an alto, flute and clarinet player.

Ms. Wan is an accomplished pianist who began her music studies from Douglas College (BC), then completed her B.Mus in Music Education with a minor in Linguistics from University of Toronto. She studied piano under the tutelage of Dr. Barry Barrington, Dr. Leslie Kinton, and Mr. Boris Zarankin. After attaining intermediate performance knowledge of multiple orchestral instruments, she pursued short-term studies in the George Hurst Conducting Course at the Canford School of Music (now Sherborne School of Music) in Dorset UK. Additionally, she participated in the Saarburg International Music Festival in Saarburg, Germany studying chamber music with musicians from around the globe. Ms. Wan also volunteered as the assistant conductor with the Royal Canadian Air Cadets of the 800 Black Forest Squadron. With many years of Teaching experience behind her and various awards and certifications such as RCM Advanced Specialist in both Piano and Theory , she continues, as she has done for over 26 years, to regularly prepare her students for recitals, competitions, and the Royal Conservatory of Music examinations. She’s also a singer/songwriter for the past few years and came out with her first EP Takes a Little Thought. She loves teaching the ukulele and wants to inspire others to enjoy the instrument too.

Kevin emphasizes musicality from the very first lesson with every student. He has a unique and customized approach to teaching that resonates with students of all ages. Kevin graduated from the music program at Mohawk College with honours and has since studied with some of Canada’s most renowned teachers. Kevin has also published several textbooks, articles and other educational resources on drumming. His performance experience spans over 20 years in many styles of music ranging from Rock, Pop and Hip Hop to Folk, Jazz, Blues and Latin music, on stages across North and South America. Kevin shares his experiences and inspires all of his students to have fun and believe that anything is possible with a little dedication and practice.

Laura Nadine is an accomplished music teacher and autism advocate of 24 years based in Toronto, Canada. She is the creator of an innovative music pedagogy that aims to make music available to students with disabilities. Laura has been actively involved in autism advocacy and public speaking since 2007, empowering individuals through films and music she has created. She advocates for Autism Canada as an ASD Advisor and serves on the Advisory Board of Hirsch Academy to develop classroom strategies and inclusive environments that support a "presumed competence" model.
Laura was employed as a Strings Teacher in the American Public Schools for multiple years, where she instructed violin to middle school students. Luke has 23 years of experience playing guitar. In addition to having undergone extensive study in Jazz and Classical traditions, he has played in Pop, Blues, Folk, Classic Rock and Metal bands. He is privileged to have studied with George McElroy at Euromusic as well as Dr. Ireneus Zuk at Queen's University. Scott Jolicoeur is a guitarist based out of Toronto, ON, who is quickly becoming one of Canada’s renowned classical guitarists. He has played and taught all styles of guitar, with specialization in classical guitar.
Scott has studied with many great guitarists including Dr. Ian Hodges in Winnipeg, as well as Jeffrey McFadden, Jorge Caballero and Rob Macdonald at the University of Toronto. While at the University of Toronto Scott also studied with Judicaël Perroy in France and René Izquierdo in Spain. From his studies, Scott has developed a well-refined method for teaching the classical guitar. Some of his previous students have completed examinations at the Royal Conservatory of Music, achieving Honours. Scott has participated in Competitions in Canada and the United States. As a teenager, he earned first place in the open division (ARCT and above), at the Ontario Music Festivals Association Provincial Competition.

Tak Arikushi is a seasoned instructor with 18 years of experience and a Jazz Studies degree from Capilano College. He moved from Vancouver to Toronto in 2013 and has since been an in-demand musician in the jazz scene. He teaches students, young and old, from beginners to advanced, and in a variety of musical genres, with a holistic approach that includes instrumental technique, aural skills, repertoire, and most importantly fun! With his methods he helps students learn their favourite songs, overcome performance anxiety, and even start a band. Tori has performed in various choirs in Toronto, including the Bach Chamber Youth Choir and VIVA Youth Singers of Toronto, and Queen's University's Choral and Women's Polyhymnia ensembles. She has experience preparing students for RCM examinations and performance opportunities for school musicals and talent shows. With an understanding of the importance of connection and curiosity toward music, Tori prioritizes structured lessons with an encouraging space for experimenting with different styles or genres, from pop to classical and everything in between. It's Never Too Early to Enjoy Music!
Your child will join teacher Anait Koutsouzian and four other young beginners for some very fun weekly lessons. Students will gain familiarity with a variety of musical instruments, learn songs especially chosen for them, explore introductory music theory concepts and will be taught creative movement with different dance elements.
This unique program will not only teach the beauty of music but will also build your child's self-confidence, strong communication skills and have a great impact on cognitive performance. Our students will have opportunities to perform in Danforth's student recitals. After completing this introductory program, students will be ready to take private lessons on piano and/ or voice, as well as other musical instruments of their choice at L&M Danforth.
Students ages 4-7 are welcome to register. Class size is 5 students. Sessions are weekly on Thursdays from 4:00-5:00pm and 5:30-6:30pm. Terms are September to December, January to March, April to June, and July to August. Students are welcome to enroll for one single term or to continue until they reach the age of 8.

To Uke-finity and Beyond! Join teacher Jade Wan as she leads you strumming out in a ukulele orchestra! Enjoy learning music and interacting with others in a small group. At the end of the term, you will be able to play a few chords, learn a basic scale and read notation. Collaborate with others while learning some fun tunes to perform for friends and family at the end of the session!
Students ages 8-12 are welcome to register. Class size is 5 students. Sessions are weekly on Tuesdays from 5-6pm. Terms are September to December, January to March, April to June, and July to August. Students are welcome to enroll for one single term or to continue until they reach the age of 12.
Now accepting registrations. The Ukulele Ensemble is $35 per hour lesson, tuition for full term due upon registration.

Get on board with Group Ukulele Express 101!
Hop on that train ride with Jade Wan as she will teach 9 classes and get you to
play songs and by the end of it all, we will perform together as “Toques and
Ukes!” Students will learn to work with others in a fun and welcoming environment. You will get to learn some fundamentals, some great songs and make many friends along the way!
Students ages 13 and above are welcome to register. Sessions are weekly on Wednesdays from 7:45-8:45pm. Terms are 9 weeks long. Students are welcome to enroll for one single term or to continue for multiple terms!
