The Sudbury Lesson Centre offers weekly private lessons for all ages and levels. Our price range varies between $25-26 per half hour lesson and offers a professional and lively environment to the public. Please call, email or text for more information about our teachers and lesson times. We are always happy to welcome new students looking to learn another instrument or even for beginners starting a new musical journey of their own.

allan yzereef (Bass Guitar, Guitar, Ukulele)
Registration RequestOnline Lessons:
Allan Yzereef has a diploma in music performance from Cambrian College, a Bachelor or Arts degree from Laurentian University and a Masters in Music from the University of Ottawa. He currently teaches at both Cambrian College and Laurentian University. Allan is well known musician in the Sudbury community, and is often a featured performer in the Cambrian Concert Series, the Living with Lakes Concert Series, The Laurentian University Concert Series, The Bell Park Concert Series and City Hall. In addition to his solo career, Allan is a member of two ensembles; The Sudbury Guitar Trio and Duo Norteño, and he has collaborated with music faculty from both Cambrian College and Laurentian University. Allan's rate is $25/30 minute lesson.
andrew gagnon (Drums)

Andrew is a professional drummer and graduate of Cambrian College’s Independent Music Production program. He has assembled several rock, blues, metal and pop bands and performed in various venues and festivals across Ontario and Quebec. Andrew has studied jazz, latin, rock, heavy metal, world music and advanced polyrhythmic techniques. He currently performs with Chanelle Albert & the Easy Company and Elijah & The Back Burners. Andrew’s rate is $25 per 30 minute lesson.
cole foreshew (Drums)
Registration RequestOnline Lessons:
Cole received his degree in Performance for Drums & Percussion at Centennial College, and has experience teaching students of all ages through multiple music schools in Barrie. His background spans multiple genres including rock, blues, solo, jazz, R&B, latin, boss nova, samba, salsa, calypso, assorted Indian and African genres, and more. Aside from teaching, he also performs with multiple acts, such as the Led Zeppelin cover band "Moby Dick" as well as his Cream tribute band, "Fresh Cream". Cole's rate is $25 per 30 minute lesson.
damien laframboise (Piano)

Damien Laframboise has been teaching piano for over 20 years and specializes in classical piano. He also has experience teaching pop, arrangement, improvisation, history and theory. He has a masters in Piano Performance and Literature from Western University in 2009 and currently completing a PhD in Ethnomusicology at Memorial University of Newfoundland. Damien is thrilled to have the opportunity to aid students on their path to self-discovery through self-expression. Damien's rate is $26 per 30 minute lesson.
luke young (Guitar)

Luke has performed in various bands covering a wide selection of musical styles including country, blues, funk, rock and jazz. He graduated from Musicians Institute and has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music from Laurentian University. Luke has taught guitar for many years and has the ability to communicate effectively with students of all ages. Luke's rate is $25/30 min lesson.
margaret kamerman (Voice)
Registration RequestOnline Lessons:
Margaret Kamerman is from Parry Sound, and began singing at a young age. She has her Advanced Diploma from Cambrian College and has recently moved back to Sudbury after graduating from the Faculty of Music program at Wilfred Laurier. She had the opportunity to perform with the Kitchener-Waterloo Symphony Orchestra, and played Beth March in Opera Laurier’s production of Mark Adamo’s Little Women. She’s also traveled home for concerts with the Parry Sound Choral Collective and the Whispering River Orchestra. Along with performing, Margaret began teaching at String Pals Day Camp with the Whispering River Orchestra, and she was the Voice Captain for Sudbury Performance Group’s production of Rudolph. Margaret's rate is $25/30 minute lesson.
milas hewson (Violin)

Milas is completing a teacher's ARCT certificate with the royal conservatory of Toronto. They have been playing for over 25 years, including with the Sudbury Symphony Orchestra, the North Bay Symphony Orchestra, and the Wilfrid Laurier University Symphony Orchestra. They studied at Wilfrid Laurier University with Jerzy Kaplanek, and have performed internationally with a chamber orchestra. They teach with a wide variety of material, and have experience teaching students of all ages. Milas' rate is $26/30 minute lesson.
robert godin (Piano)
Registration RequestOnline Lessons:
Robert has been performing and teaching piano since 2009. He has a diploma in Music Performance from Cambrian College, and a Bachelor of Music, with a major in composition from Memorial University. He has a strong background in musical theory and classical compositions/performance, but plays and teaches many styles. Video game and film music have been a great interest for him and his students. There's also a strong emphasis on performance psychology, which often improves everyday work, performance, and focus. Lessons available en anglais et en francais. His rate is $25/30 min lesson.
