Private lessons include individual, weekly instruction by professional adult musicians. Monthly tuition payments reserve a weekly lesson time, allowing teachers to prepare specialized curriculum. Students are expected to practice daily at home to maintain consistent progress.
Group Lessons
Group programs are a great way to develop listening skills and confidence, working together to create musical outcomes. Sessions include small group instruction and performance opportunities. All students must be committed to attendance and involved in class participation. See current group lesson opportunities below.

With over 18 years of experience, Aaron has adapted many styles of music into his repertoire. These genres include Classical, Jazz, Blues, Klezmer, Flamenco, Rock and Heavy Metal. Aaron studied classical and flamenco guitar at York University and Jazz guitar at Humber College. Aaron has been teaching guitar for about 10 years. He has taught individuals of many ages. Aaron strives to make this world a more harmonious place by spreading joy through playing and teaching music.
Aaron's rate is $29/half hour.
Liam Stanley (Guitar, Ukulele)

Liam Stanley is a guitarist from Toronto, Ontario and has been teaching guitar for ten years to students of all ages. He graduated from the York University, School of the Arts, Media, Performance and Design in 2016 with a B.A., Special Honours in Music. While at York University Liam studied with professors Roy Patterson and Lorne Lofsky. Liam has been performing for over a decade including appearances at the TD Toronto Jazz Festival.
Liam's rate is $28/half hour.
Mahdyar Nasiri (Bass Guitar, Guitar, Ukulele)

Mahdyar Nasiri is a Multi-instrumentalist and composer. For the past decade, he has been playing and teaching a wide range of genres such as Pop, Rock, Metal, and Flamenco with a primary focus on guitar. He attended York University and received his Bachelor of Honours in Music. Throughout his musical career, he performed in bands, ensembles, and solo projects in various genres such as Folk, Rock, Classical, and Heavy Metal.
Mahdyar's rate is $28/half hour.
Mark Patterson (Bass Guitar, Guitar)

Mark has been performing and composing for a number of years. He has had the opportunity to perform with Martin Short, Paul Shaffer, Salome Bey, Deborah Cox, Billy Ray Cyrus, Burton Cummings, Roger Hodgson, Ashley MacIssac, DK Ibomeka, Divine Brown, Keshia Chante, Ron Sexsmith, Jacksoul and has toured extensively through Europe. Mark is also a studio musician and has performed at numerous Festivals and for Television shows.
Mark's rate is $30/half hour.
Rory Lynch (Guitar, Bass Guitar, Ukulele)

Rory Lynch is a guitarist, bandleader, and composer who leads his own quartet and has performed alongside renowned artists such as Larnell Lewis, Mark Dejong, Melissa Lauren, Julian Taylor, Ellen Froese, and the Saskatoon Jazz Orchestra. As an educator with many years of experience, Rory is passionate about sharing the joy of music with his students and fostering a lifelong love of learning. His lessons are tailored to each individual's needs, focusing on building a strong technical foundation while exploring the musical styles that inspire them.
