Aaron is a guitarist with over 25 years of experience playing and teaching. A graduate of Mohawk College's Jazz program, he has performed throughout North America. He enjoys teaching a variety of styles, including country, blues, rock, and pop, and encourages his students to bring their own musical tastes to their lessons. Aaron welcomes students of all ages and levels, from beginners to advanced.
His rate is $25 per half hour lesson.

Alex is a session player, performer, composer and teacher and has been playing music for over 25 years. He holds a degree in Jazz guitar (Humber College) and is fully equipped to play and teach all genres of music. Andrew has played guitar for 40 years and has taught at Long & McQuade for over 25 years. His years of professional playing have given him a wealth of knowledge, which he continues to pass on to his long list of students. He makes sure his students have a great deal of input into their own lesson and tailors each student’s lesson with the individual in mind. Many of Andrew’s students have gone on to become teachers as well. Ranging from beginner to advanced, Andrew teaches many guitar styles such as acoustic fingerstyle, rock, jazz, and many advanced lead guitar techniques.
**Due to high demand, Andrew has limited spots available to students with prior guitar experience. Please inquire for more information.
His rate is $26 per half hour.

Bill started his drumming career in the Preston Scouthouse Band and made the transition to drumkit soon after. He completed his Professional Music Diploma in 1994 at Selkirk College in Nelson, BC with a major in both drum performance and audio engineering. He spent 20 years teaching full-time at MacAulay's Music and has had an extensive resume working with artists such as Trooper, Kenny Aronoff, The Tennesee Three and more. Bill specializes in rock drumming and also offers video lessons in recording and audio production. His lessons are tailored to each student and he is excited to inspire and help students of all ages meet their goals!
His rate is $26 per half-hour lesson.

Daniel is a woodwinds instructor and a graduate of the Etobicoke School of the Arts (music major). Dan is a regular performer and has played at many events including the Kitchener Blues Festival. He has recorded with bands like, "Milky Whites" and "The Bluesmen", as well as with his current band, "Fog Blues and Brass Band". Dan also has a background studying with the Royal Conservatory of Music. Dan has studied with multiple saxophonists, flutists and clarinetist privately in the past.
His rate is $27.00/half-hour private lesson.

Dave Poole has been playing guitar for over 25 years. He studied music theory, history and the psychology of music at the University of Western Ontario, where he earned his bachelor's degree. Dave enjoys many styles of music, and has been teaching with Long & McQuade since 2004.
His private lesson rate is $25.00/half-hour.

Dave Robertson has been teaching with Long & McQuade for over 10 years. He enjoys teaching guitar to students from beginner to advanced levels. He understands that all students are unique individuals and learn at different paces, so he is always careful to gear his lessons towards each student’s unique learning style. Dave believes in teaching all of his students theory, scales and chord structures to ensure a successful musical journey. Dave looks forward to teaching you and helping you to enjoy music just as much as he does.

Kyle has been playing live professionally since 1996. He was also a jazz trumpeter and classical guitarist at Mohawk College, with a focus on composing and arranging. With over 20 years experience teaching drums, guitar, trumpet and bass, Kyle believes in a personalized lessons approach to support each student’s unique goals and learning styles. He loves to share his passion for live performance by encouraging students to participate in ensemble and rock band programs. He also enjoys helping students prepare for post secondary auditions and exams. With his laid back, yet enthusiastic demeanour and appreciation for all genres of music, Kyle is excited to share in your journey and help you become your best version of you!
Kyle's rate is $27/half-hour lesson.
